SF: I'm divided by this film. Love the comedic wise cracks from Peter Parker, the fact they use Gwen Stacy (as they should), the library scene and Martin Sheen. Didn't like - the terrible score, why is Titanic being recycled? Spider-man's blue fingers (yeah I know that's a weird one), practically no middle to the film and lastly the need for *Spoiler* spidey to use cranes in order to webswing. Despite me wanting to love this at the end of the day it only makes a mediocre movie but it did have a lot to live up to. Sam Raimi still rules. 6/10
50 Eggs: Andrew Garlfield is my favorite actor and he makes a better Spiderman than Toby Maguire. But that's the only aspect of this that beats the original. The tone of the film is all wrong, the action underwhelming and the plot and villain are actually quite boring. Watchable but unnecessary. 5.5/10
DonkeyB: I hate having to do this. Emma Stone and Martin Sheen and Sally Field all great but still only 5/10
Overall: 5.5/10

Never Let Me Go
F: Ok putting the book (which I love) aside, I thought this merely ok. Parts of it were incredibly moving and other parts rather drab. I guess I'm biased and had expectations that were too high. 5/10
50 Eggs: Not a fun watch but it's not supposed to be. An accurate portrayal of the book and just as haunting, this is one that sticks in your mind long after you've left the cinema. Andrew Garfield was brilliant, Keira Knightley very good, and even Carey Mulligan managed not to be annoying. 8/10

The Social Network
SF: plot wise I wasn't expecting much but West Wing guy has a way of writing that made the whole film strangely compelling. The soundtrack worked perfectly, the witty dialogue was engaging and overall I can't complain even if I loath Facebook. 8/10
50 Eggs: The Facebook move turned out to be brilliantly excellent. Riveting stuff with great performances from Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and the supporting cast. 10/10
DonkeyB: Its Aaron Sorkin, what's not to like? Funny, witty, tense. Justin Timberlake is a bastard, so is the guy who invented napster and now they are forever the same person in my head. 9/10
Overall - 9/10
